My Crock Pot is my best friend! I love my crock pot. I use it multiple times a week! I do not know how I would get dinner on the table every night without it. Mornings are crazy busy in my house. So, I love meals that I can throw together and get cooking in the Crock Pot in under five minutes!
This is, by far, my favorite go to meal when life gets crazy. I try to always keep the ingredients on hand so I can just throw it in the Crock Pot. Recently, I knew was it going to be a busy day because my son had a cross country meet in another town and my oldest daughter had to march in the homecoming parade with the band. So, I took 2 minutes to throw this meal in the Crock Pot and let it cook all day on low and we had a delicious dinner waiting for us when we got home.
Crock pot Chicken Tacos
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts (I throw them in the crock pot frozen)
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1 jar of salsa
Just throw them in crock pot on low for 6-8 hours and high for 8-10 hours
Shred the chick at the end of the day and serve. I like to throw the chicken back in the sauce for about 10-20 minutes after I shred it.
Serve with your favorite taco toppings!
